Homemade Vanilla-Honey Peanut Butter

pb4Who’s never going to buy peanut butter from the store again?
me.
I had some free time, so I thought I’d make my own peanut butter. I saw the recipe on the amazing Georgia’s site and it seemed so simple, I couldn’t resist.
Very easy. Much easier than I thought it would be. I don’t know why I thought it would be tough, it’s mashed up peanuts and oil, basically. I assumed there would be some magic or something involved.
There wasn’t. It really was mashed up peanuts and oil, basically.

Baby Bok Choy with Chili Oil and Garlic

Baby Bok Choy VIIDude(s), this was easy. Really really simple. Which goes perfectly with my blog motto “…simple food that tastes good and looks pretty.”
If you want healthy, tasty and quick, go buy some baby bok choy and make this. I loved it. I mixed it with some broccoli and brown rice and had it for lunch the next day.

Delilah’s Sweet Temptations

_MG_2126I have a very little bakeshop that I’ll be selling sweet treats in on Saturday. Wait, let me back up, I live in a live/work loft. This means my home is zoned as commercial. My first floor is a small workspace (my bake shop) as well as our garage, and the second and third stories are where we live.

Original Tommy’s Hamburgers

My husband and I have decided to expand our search for the planet’s best burger. Our reasons for doing this are twofold. For one, we haven’t found the best one out there, and two, we like beef.
We decided to venture out beyond the Orange Curtain and travel all the way to Los Angeles to support our friend as she fought to the death (and won!) in a Derby Doll match. We got out late and were hungry. A friend suggested Tommy’s. It was open late and it was close.
